Sea Monster helped Nedbank expand their groundbreaking Roblox game with exciting multiplayer features.
Building on the success of Chow Town, which established Nedbank as the first African bank on Roblox, we introduced Order-Frenzy - a multiplayer mode that transformed individual entrepreneurship into collaborative business ventures, deepening engagement and bringing friends together in the Chow Town street market.
Evolve Chow Town to meet growing community demand for social features.
A year after launch, Chow Town had built a thriving community of young entrepreneurs. Player feedback revealed a clear desire: they wanted to share their business journeys with friends.
The challenge was to introduce meaningful multiplayer experiences that would enhance social connection while maintaining the game's core focus on financial literacy and positive money management messages.
We needed to create a mode that was both exciting and educational, teaching collaboration and shared financial responsibility.

Transform solo entrepreneurship into high-energy collaborative cooking experience
We developed Order-Frenzy, a brand new multiplayer game mode where up to 4 players team up to run a restaurant together. In this fast-paced experience, friends must coordinate to cook iconic South African dishes in a race against time, serving customers before they lose patience.
The gameplay creates real pressure: if the restaurant's review rating drops to 0 stars, it's game over. players must communicate and strategise about who handles which orders, how to manage time efficiently, and how to keep customers happy.
Beyond the adrenaline of the cooking chaos, Order Frenzy introduces meaningful financial concepts. Players split their earnings and can invest their share back into their own restaurants. Teams compete on leaderboards, creating a competitive yet collaborative environment that celebrates both individual growth and collective success.
The update maintains Chow Town's distinctly South African character - from the iconic dishes being prepared to the vibrant afro-futuristic aesthetic - whilst teaching young players that entrepreneurship doesn't have to be a solo journey.
Through Order Frenzy, players learn about profit sharing, reinvestment, teamwork under pressure, and the power of partnership.
